What a joke this decision is. This is a man that once canceled a race after a day's card had already begun at Delaware Park because the race scratched down to three runners. I can't see him being a good representative of racing when he pulled a crap move like that......
And given the wonderfully full fields we see at Delpark on a daily basis, I don't think this guy gets it yet. Poor choice to sit on the NTRA board, in my opinion.

The hatred for the guy on track each day is palpable from his refusal to sell TGH or Ragozin sheets on site, despicable treatment of the horsemen and "Let them eat cake 'tude for the customers. This guy is a real piece of work. He tried to cut back the April to November racing to 6 weeks to run with the Saratoga dates this year. Fortunately it was too late for him to pull it off. Trainers are leaving far fewer horses there this year. Good luck trying to get anything done with this guy.
