![]() I look at this filly, and I wonder what might have been. Obviously she has physical issues but it's kind of hard to reconcile getting "crushed" by Jessie's Justice (and that 22.84 final quarter at SAR) and running within 2 lengths of Alexander Tango < 2 months later. A race in which she finished ahead of Rutherienne (she's only allowed 5 perfect inside trips a year and this wasn't one of them) and just behind Bit Of Whimsy and Sharp Susan.
Don't know what happened, and usually Levine does no wrong, but now Badgett has her. Hopefully, this will be a prep for a nice season for her. Last edited by the_fat_man : 05-08-2008 at 12:15 AM. |

![]() the trainer change is definitely important.
notice right away that levine always had her work on the turf. Maybe Levine had her until mid october? She was at goldmark. Chestoria should win this if she comes back near what she was. The Clemente horse also comes back , maybe you figure he will put her on the pace this time to get used to the speed? Trombetta tries to sneak in a cheapie, and the 6 is a race ahead some of these and threatens to challenge, but a little cheap as well. hard to bet a fav off the layoff with a negative trainer change, but i can't really oppose with confidence either... go chestoria |
