![]() Despite the dearth of talent in today's Derby, there might be some good 3YOs out there, and after seeing Harlem Rocker last week we just saw Biker Boy win pretty impressively against a solid group of older horses in the first race at Churchill. It was just his third start, and second this year, and he provides another ray of hope that this division could get more exciting as the year progresses.
He got a perfect trip, but showed the ability to rate comfortably after wiring the field last out, and won like he might have a good future.

![]() The last few have not been good for closers. Track seems to be getting very fast.

Are you in agreement, then, given your comment, that the set of 'how' races are run is larger than the quantification of pace set? |

![]() Anyone get a Beyer figure for Biker Boy yet? 134 flat is pretty quick, no?

97. Could have been a little higher but it was tricky, being the first race on a drying out track, and an apparent wind factor.
