Landson, I'm sorry to hear that. I know you must be very disappointed and frustrated. It's always frustrating when injuries prevent your horse from trying to do what you thought he was capable of doing. This business is always a roller-coaster. At least you had a great run with him. He won some huge races. I know you didn't want things to end like this but you still have to be thrilled with all that FS accomplished. Hopefully you will have another as good as FS in the near future.

just got in, ate dinner, and checked out the racing news, and saw about first samurai being retired.
as disappointed as we are to see him go, i'm sure it pales in comparison to you're thoughts about it.

can't do better than getting one to claiborne, a great farm that will give him every chance to succeed at his new career.
