Default Bad ending for nice horse

I bet him in the Ack Ack, and he got pulled up abruptly. Sad to hear why.

It makes me sad to hear stuff like this. I was at the BC & George Washington, hero of Engalnd/Europe had to be euthanized. I'm sure it was as devastating as Barbaro was to us. I read a very good article about him on Bloodhorse, which pretty much said it all. It seems that every BC is accompanied by some tragedy. I was more worried this year with the sloppy track conditions. I was at Bel when Exogenous went down, hit her head, was put down a few days later. I think.
These horses are warriors. They deserve our love & respect & to be well cared for in their old age.
