Question 2 miles.....???

While looking at Saturday's Spa entries, when was the last time there was a race at Saratoga carded for 2 miles...on dirt!

I don't know, but I wish they did it more often. I say the more races carded at 12f and up the better.
Pletcher's horse in here (Nite Light) sure has a nice pedigree. You don't often see a horse whose sire and dam were BOTH 5-time G1 winners. He certainly has the pedigree (Thunder Gulch & Lite Light) to run all day, and even though going 2 miles in his third lifetime start will be a tall order, I like his chances.

16 minutes to post and Nite Light who was 7/2 ML is now 7/1. I thought he would be at about 5/2.
He seems like a very good value to me at 7/1.

Well my pick ran pretty well for second, but I thought it was a lot of fun to watch. Durkin's call was good. I particularly liked when they were approaching the first turn and he said, "And it is Night Lite to catch, and they only have thirteen more furlongs to do it."
