Melhor Ainda
She's back - she's entered in a stakes at Belmont on Friday the 14th, 1 1/16 on the turf. I'm sooooo happy about this - I don't think I could wait for the Diana. She's heads and shoulders above the rest of the field, but still..... you never know how they'll come back after an injury. Her class is unquestioned, but is her turn of foot still the same ? If so, she's going to win some big races this year. With all the talented turf mares out there, she's been forgotten (understandably so, I suppose), but now here's the first step on the way, I hope, to the Breeder's Cup. The nice thing about MA, also, is that she runs on soft turf -with all the rain in NY, I can't possibly see it being anything other than good or soft.

My girl Miss Matched on the turf. I don't know if I've told anyone on here before, but Miss Matched is the best looking filly I've ever seen in person. In my entire life, she exudes more class than I can even speak to. Gorgeous in person, a bit of an up and down career, but I don't know that turf is her game and boy there are some toughies in here.

Sis City, even if she could run on grass, couldn't warm Melhor Ainda up; she's still living on her early 3 year old reputation. Truthfully, this is an easy race for MA and should be a good stepping stone for the big races. She's now 4 years old and should be even better than she was last year.
