I'm thinking about purchasing a few of Jim Mazur's products for the Saratoga meet and was wondering if anyone has used them and, if so, would recommend them . . .

What does each book (regular Saratoga Handicapper, Trainer Detail, and Trainer Stats) include and can I get by with just buying one or two or should I get all three? Thanks for any insight. . . |

Jim Mazur is actually a friend of mine. He and I handicapped last year's BC together at Keeneland. Good guy even though he's a Duke grad! Go Tar Heels!!

I've used his products for several years with success. I prefer the "handicapper" and trainer stats, as well as the "blue chip plays." The statistics are invaluable to an angle player like me. Jim's information comes from a huge data base and is an excellent way to find value and eliminate pretenders. |

I bought the Churchill spring meet handicapper and trainer detail. This Spring meet didn't go along with past meets thanks in big part to a much bigger presense from S. Assmussen. It does open your eyes to certain trainer angles.

However, next year when I buy my yerly P.P.'s from DRF I am going with Formulator. |
