According to a plumber in NY, Digger is going to surprise a lot of people.

It will be a surprise if he finishes the race.

Most wanted Street Sense to be in....but he's out. Today's jawing is about the Dutrow/Roman offering of Digger.

The rest include Curlin, Hard Spun, Imawildandcrazyguy, Tiago, and Slews Tizzy.

The story on the Belmont is that while considered one of the American Classics, it is basically a meaningless race outside of the framework of a Triple Crown attempt. Short fields of questionable quality who compete an an obsolete distance on dirt.

The Belmont is a useless race unless you are going for the Triple Crown. Why race 1 1/2 miles when you can wait for the Jim Dandy, Haskell and Travers.

I also read where Pletcher is still considering Rags To Riches and Quay. Does anyone know how serious he is about entering one of both of them into the Belmont?

Chance of entering both = 1%
Chance of entering one = 84%
Chance of entering neither = 15%
