Default Can I get 2-1?

Will anyone give me 2-1 odds on Street Sense never racing again?

I think he'll race again... although I have heard that he's got a tendon problem (most likely a bow.)

If Street Sense can breeze yesterday morning, galloping out five in 1:01, with a "tendon problem or bow", more power to him.

Maybe ... the work shows that the horse doesn't have a "tendon problem".

no. it makes more sense to believe gossip on a message board and just assume that the connections are suddenly and uncharacteristically not at all concerned about a horse that has enormous value.

Shhhhheeeeewwwww

Someone just IM'ed and said that someone on Derby Trail said "SS bowed"

My heart was in my throat for a second there......but I'm now relieved to know that the great Smokey Stover is healthy and sound....

.....and that the Street Sense rumor Cajun heard hasn't yet been confirmed.

wonder when smokey is running again, i get a kick out of him.

as for the street sense 'bow', i have a hard time believing that, since he just worked.

"someone told me" i mean " i heard" that there was a ufo in the sky yesterday.

getting back to the original question about getting 2-1 on never running again:

you'd have to give me 2-1. the owners realise how much this horse is worth in the shed vs on the track. they have been hedging ever since the horse crossed the finish line 2nd in the preakness.

to steal from another post: “Knowing the offers that are coming in on this horse, which I don’t know the details of, but I know it’s getting economically impossible to run,” he said.

Horses come back from bows, but horses of Street Sense's caliber usually are retired before they would ever have the chance to see the track again. One of the claiming crown stalwarts from a few years ago, the name completely escapes me, came back from a bow.

The above posts are what happens when you post something that you hear. Did I say that I thought that? My point was that PERHAPS Nafzger is resting him for a reason.

Jeezuztapdancingchrist... I heard before the Preakness that he had an old tendon problem. That's all I posted...

Pretty dangerous to post all the nonsense people spout around the racetrack.

I can, however, confirm that CP West tried to bite me the other day. I think it speaks well of him.

Yes, you're correct and I regret posting that. I apologize.

lol they wouldnt need a work to determine if the horse has a bow or not, pretty simple to tell. lord of the game is also a gelding so that has something to do with why he was brought back, they tried again this year with him and failed. if a horse does bow youre looking at atleast 6 months minimum, and with my experience working with racehorses in the past year its only a matter of time before they bow again
