Default notta good ending for a winner

from yesterday in iowa, see comment. i wonder how this 1 passed the vet to even run, and was droppin huge off a break. hopefully hes ok and will atleast live, mcbride and her owner will probaly have to eat their 5k. on a side note i took care of bachelors gulch for a couple of weeks at the end of the hawthorne meet this spring be4 he went to iowa. nice, big chestnut, who was pretty professional for a lower claimer, i liked the horse and was sad to see him go

Hope he makes it, playa... so sad.

Speaking of sad, I adopted another dog from the shelter today... she was on death row. So many unwanted pets.

What kind of dog? I used to work at the local SPCA (7 years). Adopted many myself. Deb

She's some kind of lab mix although I'm not sure what she's mixed with. She's about 6-8 months old. We named her Charlotte.

So glad to hear that you adopt as well... it's disheartening to see all of these homeless animals suffering. I wish I could save them all.

She's a happy looking one! I have 2 lying next to me right now. One I adopted and one I took home because she was heading to the shelter. Good luck with her.

They had a full blooded husky in there by the way... he got adopted today too. Boy was he happy to be outside. LOL

Thanks for the well wishes. My other dog (Coal) will be so happy to have someone to play with too.

Good luck with your adopted dogs - mine always come from a shelter and I have a very happy bluetick coonhound here now. Took some training but she lives happily with 3 cats, too!!!

my trainers gotta friend who works for mcbride in indiana/fla ill try and get some kinda uodate on the horse if possible.


nice lookin dog jamie! my mom adopted a shepherd/greyhound several years back that was bout to be put down. the dog was skinny and scared of everything. actually took a couple years for him to feel fully safe and get to a better weight but these days zeus is in good shape and a happy camper=)



i wish i could save em all too as well as take alotta horses off the racetrack, im a a$$hole lol in my humble opinion but i gotta huge softspot for animals
