It is possible to make $$ betting Russell Baze

I know a few here have lamented that Russell Baze makes the betting at Bay Meadows tough, since he is normally on the favorite.

Saturday though, Russell Baze was a part of five straight quinellas.

$9.20 in the 2nd. 5 horses started.

$5.80 in the 3rd. 5 horses started.

$42.80 in the 4th. 6 horses started.

$28.20 in the 5th. 7 horses started.

and $20.80 in the 6th. 9 horses started.


Russell brought home a horse at $6.70-1 in the 5th.


No particular point, other than it's possible to catch some good streaks and winners, even IF Russell Baze hits the board.

maybe once in a while but most of the time, actually i'd say 80% of the time whoever he's on is under 5-2
