![]() NYRA inexplicably raises admission $2 . Probably to alienate a few more people. Spinners will only be at Dead and Company shows at $7 a copy. They have taken more and more land from the public every year and have turned into a money grabbing at every possible instance that they can. The obnoxious channel 10 set, the talking horses set, and the ridiculous tent for owners have destroyed ambiance. All the quaint little subtleties disappear one at a time till they are gone. It is appalling.

They get barely any gate at Aqueduct or Belmont so let’s juice the one one place where folks turn out, because it might improve the old bottom line, even if it’s at the expense of the loyal fans who have been going every year. |

![]() Only a rock head like you would be in favor of a 40% admission increase. But then when you have the money to spend $580 on a pick 5 with 4 6 hoss fields, it doesn’t matter to you the big spender that you are.

![]() Still cheaper than GA for Arlington Park on a regular day ($8 advance / $10 at the door)
Season pass = $200 and shockingly includes premium days (Million Day probably $30 GA) |
