It's Betfair one of the larger books worldwide. IMO they could careless about racing long term. IMO the strategy was to be positioned in the US market so that when Sports betting was legalized that had immediate access and entry into a MUCH more substantial market. Not saying they dont or arent looking to earn on Racing but in all candor once sports gambling is legal racing becomes a stepchild.. What do I really know?

there are 2 aspects to this issue.
the first is the banking law, and earning interest income. when i worked at the insurance giant CNA. it was their corporate policy, as it is at most giant companies, to deposit funds from payments that were delivered via the mail immediately. they had bank scanning equipment in the corporate office wired to the bank. When the mail bags full of checks arrived each morning; by 2 PM, they were deposited into the bank. They also paid all there disbursement from a little bank in the middle of nowhere cause it would take a week for the checks to be presented, allowing the bank to collect interest income on their funds while waiting for written checks to be presented. so deposit immediately and delay disbursement. earn interest income on this time differential.
the other leg of this first point on banking law is this simple law =
Midnight the next banking day.
If a check is presented at a bank, they have until midnight the next banking day to decide to return the check. So there is no need to hold my deposit which was made with a paid check for 10 days before i get my funds back. The check legally had cleared after the 2nd day, not the 10th.

But the most important aspect of this bitch is this.
the thrill of winning and having the ability to spend it that day.
at the window in the track, you bet, get your cash back sometimes in less than 5 minutes...CASH BACK..buy a pizza on the way home, order a new shirt on line that day...CELEBRATE YOUR WIN ..that day...NOT 8 DAYS FROM NOW.

AT THE WINDOWS YOU GET YOUR CASH NOW.

TVG is not an acceptable client for CHASE bank, as chase bank doesn't do business with them...why do you think chase does no business with them ?
I can't depsoit with the chase debit card , because chase takes no deposits from TVG.

Because they are afraid to get Stiffed by Deadbeat Cardholders? I love TVG they just deposited $5 Bucks in my account for no reason whatsoever.

That's BS. Chase will do business with them! I have Chase and use Chase for TVG, twinspires.com, etc.

NOT the credit / debit card, but their EFT transfers. I deposit and can bet immediately. I can withdraw any winnings over my original deposit and can withdraw my original deposit in 4 business days. What's the big deal!?
