Default Congrats! Bengals reach Milestone

With Deltha O'Neal's DWI, the Cincinnati Bengals have eclipsed the NFL team record for players arrested in a calender year... Frustrated by their tie with the Baltimore Ravens for the mark, and with the window of opportunity slipping away, O'Neal took it upon himself to push the 'striped terrors of the Ohio Valley' over the top, earning the respect and admiration of his teammates and Queen City residents...

Player Pos. Transgression(s)

Deltha O'Neal CB Driving while intoxicated
Reggie McNeal WR Resisting arrest
Matthias Askew DT Resisting arrest
Eric Steinbach G Boating under the influence
Chris Henry WR x-Total of five
Frostee Rucker DE Spousal battery
A.J. Nicholson LB Burglary, grand theft
Odell Thurman LB League substance abuse policy violation

x-unlawful transaction with a minor (three counts), speeding, operating a vehicle under the influence, felony possession of a concealed firearm, possession of marijuana

There should be team fines for this crap.....not by the league, but by GM! It can go to charity, or the victims of these knuckleheads!

Fret not, the rookie Joseph from South Carolina had already taken his spot. no biggie. here's hoping the Who Deys keep it classy. My personal favorite was Odel Thurman's DUI when Chris Henry was so trashed that he was puking out the back window of the SUV.

As long as they keep winning... I could care less, looks like this really effected them yesterday...This isn't College, it is the Pros, it's a bonus if they are nice people, but winning is all that matters...

They don't get paid to be nice people, they get paid to win...

You don't hoist the Lombardi Trophy for being a good citizen...

O'Neal got a DUI, they sat him, and still pounded the Raiders, he'll be back and if he makes an interception, people will cheer...

when exactly were nfl players roll models? i am fairly young, so maybe before my time, not during my time. i know a lot of our guys do good stuff for charity and community but when i have kids, they wont be looking up to nfl players (in general). there just like anyone else with money like actors, you put money in their fist and they do very bad things. my girlfriend chloe always says to me, these guys are bad guys, i say what do you expect them to be tinkerbells with white horses, honey coalm down.
