			 I have always thought that dividing people into Asian American, African American, Native American etc etc has been a silly thing to do and only promotes the stereotypes that go with each label.   
		
	
		
		
		
		
		
		
		
		
		
	
		
		
	
	
	I think if someone was born in America, they are American without any prefix. What do you think? I am not racist, and my parents were born in the Philippines, but I've just always found labeling people like this bizarre.  |

			 I see nothing wrong with respecting one's heritage as long as it isn't an excuse for excluding others. A perfect society would preclude the need for labels, including "male and female". We won't see this in our lifetime.
