Default Parade/Barbaro

In today's Parade there's a question in the Personality Parade column as to Barbaro's current condition. I was shocked to read that Barbaro is comfortable after a January operation and is in stable condition.

Irresponsible on so many levels. They should stick to Hollywood crap.

come on, DRF gets facts wrong quite often(usually not this bad though), so why would you expect a paper that doesn't focus on horse racing to be any more accurate?

I'd say that's a pretty big fact. Look how bad we're roasting a guy for calling the wrong horse. Barbaro was major news. Good grief, all they had to do was google it and they would've gotten the right answer about 1000 times.

You would still do a last minute check on something like that.. he died on Jan 29th... thats almost 2 weeks... no way it was printed back then...

The question might have been that old, but this came out in todays paper. No excuse, I'd say. I realize they probably have to print early, but if they can't stay more current they should stick to history and leave news to the daily rags.
