![]() Everyone was saying that Asi's Siempre's last race was not legitimate because it was on the polytrack and that she would have no chance on the dirt today.
She ran great today. Not only did she run 2nd, she would have had a shot to win with a clean trip. She took up about 4 times in the stretch. She finally forced her way to the outside and got clear the final 1/16th of a mile and she ended up getting disqualified for it. I don't know if she could have beaten Round Pound but it would have been close. |

![]() Her sire El Prado has had plenty of good dirt runners, like Medaglia d'Oro. They hadn't tried her on dirt after she came back from Europe because she was going so well on the turf.

![]() Would have been best to have Asi Siempre or somebody other than the 1 post win that Distaf.3 out of these wins by the 1 hole have been pretty big prices.I don't think any reasonable person can argue that they just happened to have that post.
