Default Scat sale, moss and contessa split/ashkal way

Drf is reporting the following stories:
1) Todd and JJ Pletcher(Todd's dad) have sold their interest in Scat Daddy to Michael Tabor.

2) Maggi Moss and Gary Contessa have parted company

3) Ashkal Way will not run in the Mile, he will be pointed to the Citation.

Is Scatutorio maintaining his interest?

I think they're selling out at the right time.

Good 2YO, but I don't see him being all that much down the road... however Tabor could probably use him as a stud prospect if it doesn't work out.

Actually they sold too soon. He is going to get his grade 1 win tomorrow. I suspect Pletcher had no choice here. If Tabor wants to buy from him and his father, he has to sell. I would imagine Tabor probably leaned heavily on Pletcher this week for running his horse at Keeneland and Todd keeping the horse he owned for the Champagne. Now had he won Tabor probably would not have complained, but Circular Quay needs to be Pletcher's Number 1 Priority. Tabor not only owns Circular Quay but his wife is the breeder. That loss probably did not sit well with him. It probably was Tabor's decision to run on the poly too, but the loss could not have made him happy.

He's not going to win tomorrow. This race is Nobiz's to lose.

I am well aware of Tabor being a big fan of poly. I think you need to read my post before you go telling me I am wrong. Read the last sentence of the post.

I probably know a little bit more than you about pricing horses, but even a fool knows a horses value goes up significantly with a grade 1 win. You don't sell the week before a grade 1 win. You might say Pletcher knows something and that is why he is selling him, but I can assure you the one person Pletcher would not rip off is Tabor. Scat Daddy will win tomorrow. Probably pretty easily unless the horse from over the pond lives up to his name.

I can't believe #2, any idea if she will be keeping horses around here? Kind of suprised the "sporty" Godolphin guys are skipping the Mile, since they could definitely run in both.
I knew about one already, suspected another would happen, and was surprised at another.

Havent they been trying to sell an interest in him for awhile? I heard they were offering a 1/4 of him a couple of weeks after the Sanford.
Are the others you are referring to done or are the possibilities?

Most of Maggi's horses in NY will be going to Bruce Levine.
