Is it just me or does Gs appear to make stuff up as they go with this pool?

They make the rules, and they appear very fluid. It was their $$ added to the pool hoping to spur the pool and generate more interest for 2 weeks. Now they seeded $50K for next week. You would wonder though where the Florida racing board or commission stands on the rules on payouts and dates with this pool

June 29th was the original payout date--they got permission from the state to make it Memorial Day with a restart thereafter since it was unquestionably in the best interests of Florida racing. What's the big deal?

As far seeding the pool, again--what is the problem? Unless the horsemen have a gripe (e.g. would rather see the money go directly to purses, as opposed to trying to stimulate handle which supports purses), I am not getting the problem. More seeding, everywhere, please. |
