Now this is funny. I am sure that Ouija Board, Gorella, Alexandrova are all real real scared of Wait A While.

she looked good, real good. handled that field of older mares with ease. but as for november....big difference between the field today and what she'll face at churchill. that's not hating, that's the truth. maybe she'll step up to that challenge. sure would be nice....

I think it's more like 3 lengths. Each 1/5th of a second is about a length.

I'm a big fan of The Tin Man but I was not impressed with his race today at all. He didn't look like himself. Even when they passed the stands the first time, he wasn't travelling nearly as smoothly as he did in the Million. He's probably getting a little tired. It's been a long year for him. He went to Dubai and back and he also travelled to Chicago and back. And he is 8 years old.

I admire the horse's guts. He didn't have his "A" game and he still won. But off that race today, I don't give him much shot in the BC Turf.

Yes but the point is, The Tin Man was all out and Wait a While was trotting home

I don't think this race changes anything. His only shot in the BCT was to set a crawl and hope to outsprint the Euros, and that continues to be his only shot. Although I think it's gonna be mighty hard to go from nosing out T.H. Approval to beating some of the world's best grass horses.

Agree Ateam.
I haven't looked at the splits for the early parts of either race.
tin Man had a "crawl". Too bad nobody pushed him.
The times before the 3/4 pole will tell the story.

And Showing Up was a second faster than the Tin Man in the Arlington Million, when the Tin Man beat Cacique. Cacique then beat Showing Up. Times mean nothing in turf racing.

Wait a While is not in the league with the Oujia Board, Alexandrova or Gorella.

There is no American turf horse that can compete with the top Europeans. Not one.

Again, the inital post was edited. It was originally a full second faster and then he changed it. 3 lengths is correct now.
