Default Most Talented 3yo since the 90's?

Are we all ready to hand over the award to Bernardini? Still living in the Smarty Party? Do you like your 3yo's to be Real Quiet? A late blooming Tiznow?

Who would you rate as the most talented 3 year old since 1990?

It is a tie for me. Victory Gallop or Concern. My two personal faves.

If I remember correctly, Candy Ride was still technically 3 years old when he smoked Medaglia d'Oro in the Pacific Classic. If so, he was easily the most talented 3-year-old I've seen in a long, long time.

Really tough to seperate Point Given, Holy Bull, and Bernandini. Those three were freaks in the spring/summer. Tiznow certainly closed the year with a bang.

That race was pretty unbelievable.

Interesting, by asking for the most "talented" 3-y-o, you're suggesting that they don't always have had to applied that talent. I prefer to rate horses by ability rather than talent. A minor semantical point, I know, but important nonetheless.

Hawk Wing or Point Given in my opinion.
