![]() Now that all three triple crown races are on the same network (NBC) I would have thought that the triple crown prep races would be aired to generate intrest in the triple crown.
Last year the Wood Memorial and The Santa Anita Derby were broadcast live on NBC in order to generate intrest in the Kentucky Derby and perhaps it helped as the Kentucky Derby T.V. ratings were the highest in years (if I remember correctly). So do you think NBC will air any Kentucky Derby Prep Races this year? |

![]() Looks like the Florida Derby, Wood and Bluegrass might be on NBC or ESPN. Only place to see them (according to the NTRA sched) is online, which makes me think a network will air them.
Wonder why the Arkansas Derby was left out?

![]() No.
ESPN which televised the Canadian International on Saturdays for the last 3 years, will not be back this year. http://www.drf.com/news/woodbine-vet...after-training Last edited by Alan07 : 04-01-2011 at 02:06 PM. |

![]() I did see NBC as the network listed for the TC races. As for the 3 preps I listed above, it only shows NTRA Live as the network showing them. Does this mean they will be on a network somewhere?

The commentary on the other races are done by DRF and offer no other info. NBC sports shows no indication on their website that any preps will be aired. |
