![]() I went by the barn yesterday before flying home and spent some time with Zenyatta. I took some photos and thought I'd share them...

![]() That third one is pretty cute and funny.
It looks like she is imitating her fans. |

![]() I was kneeling down to get a different angle on my photos and she walked up to me and started sniffing my camera. I got several shots of her snout before she started trying to eat my camera. I had to let her sniff it for a while before she'd let me go back to taking photos. She's very inquisitive and loves attention from people - if you like personable horses, you'll love Zenyatta
![]() Yes, I'm one of THOSE fans... ![]()

For Dog's sake, I used to sing in the shower about Rahy. I was obsessed. I was obsessed with IC too. Shortly after his debut, I got a derby future bet on him at 150/1, and I checked for workouts for him every single day, even though I knew he was not in training. Still, I never became completely idiotic about things like some of these Z fans do. I would never have called Rahy the greatest horse ever and than gotten all defensive like when anyone dared question his obvious greatness. Believe it or not, I do like Zenyatta. She's a cool horse that has a really neat presence. Her connections are assholes though, and a significant number of her fans have completely lost touch with reality. I don't see you being one of them. |
