No Travers TV Coverage?
I was looking for a listing of the coverage of Travers Day, hoping that ABC/ESPN would at least cover the Travers Stakes itself, and I saw articles indicating that after 25 years, ABC has decided not to televise the race. In NY, you guys are able to see it on another local network, but I live near Philly.
It's actually not for me since I have betting services that will stream it on the web, but I know a few casual fans in work whose kids are into the races, and wanted to pass on the info. Looks like we are out of luck. If you guys know differently, please post who is carrying the coverage nationally, if anybody.

Not sure if they are going to show the race though.

i'm sorry to say i'm old enough to remember when these races were followed with great attention in the sports world. it just is not the case any more. theres never enough, really, GOOD horses in training that run against each other to cause the rival attitude.(you have to read garbage on here for "mock" rivals...lol) the article written about the 300 tracks with no one betting on them and watering down the product at the worst time, is so accurate. you had your 4 or 5 major tracks with different seasons and horses willing to race almost 10 times a year....until that happens again....good luck!
