Default Barbaro jr -- Lentenor (GP 9th)

Morning line 3/1 in the last at GP. How low will he go? I dont have the pps but looks like some nice turf colts routing. A Giants Causway and Tapit colt both opening at double didget odds.

He won at even money. Very nice. 99-1 speed went out, he sat second (#2) on the rail on a good pace, took command at the head of the stretch and pulled away to win by 2 1/2 or so, 1:41.02.

22.89
46.94
1:11.30

The Tapit finished second at 92-1. Yes, yes he did!

The Giant's Causeway didn't do anything.

Pretty impressive performance. Let's see if they decide to go in the Fountain of Youth or continue on the turf trail.

What was going on at the head of the stretch? He had his lead change, but laid in a tad for a stride or two?

I'm guessing just immaturity? This was his third race, right? He's still green.

Glad he won. I make fun of the pretty horsey comments on the Barbaro's Brothers blog on BH, and yet, the only reason I can make fun of them is because I'm there to read every post.
