One of the best put-overs I have ever seen just happened at CD.
A 3yo colt debuting for a debuting trainer (no starts this year) Phillip Jones. showing 1 slow workout. Sired by Wild Wonder out of a Norbot mare. 50-1 ML goes of at 98-1. Sets right off the speed and draws off like a good thing. Beating Normandruth by a good 5-6 lengths, who debuted with a 83 beyer. Fwiw, I bet the 2nd and 3rd place horses in a 2 horse exacta box. I guess it would of been a good time for the ALL on top hedged tri. ![]() |
