Default Illinois and its ADW Deal

I thought this was really interesting and hilarious

If you wager through TVG on out of state track, the Illinois earned purse money goes to Fairmount

If you wager through TwinSpires on out of state track, the Illinois earned purse money goes to Arlington Park

If you wager through Youbet on out of state track, the Illinois earned purse money goes to Hawthorne/Balmoral/Maywood

If it is an IL track you wager on regardless, the actual track gets the purse money.

Arlington really gets the benefit from all this because TVG just started taking bets and while Youbet is best, they weren't taking Arlington bets for a while

Are you sure the money doesn't go to CDI? I thought that's why it was such a bad deal...the money is taken out of state to CDI.

Indirectly it goes to CDI because it is Arlington, but the money wagered goes into Arlington's purse structure. Read the ITHA email that was most likely just sent to you.

I saw that race... I double checked the DRF to make sure it wasn't an arabian race

Though I live and bet in Illinois I rarely play Illinois races. When I went to Fairmount I was treated like a King so I am glad they are getting the benefit of my dollars. This should all play out good in April when Blago's trial starts.

Thanks for the link.
