Default Anybody else agree with this statement.....

My most memorable races so far this year have involved a certain couple turf Horses i.e., Cacique, English Channel etc.

Overall, the Stakes Dirt races on the whole this year have been a bore. I remember a couple mid-level Allowance Races more then I do say The Whitney, Wood etc.. Just no good down to the wire with 3 or 4 or more Horses battling too the end. Although Sun King made it interesting.

I sure hope The Breeder's Cup is an improvement. I hate watching races that are over when they make the turn for home.

I only like those races when it's my horse on the lead when they're turning for home :P

I love turf racing a million times better than dirt. I tend to handicap them much better too.

I love whatever racing I happen to be cashing a ticket on. Not partial to grass or dirt. As long as I'm heading to the window after the race and not to Cash Call

oh sure the excitement of knowing you are gonna cash is a rush. I am talking strictly from a no - gambling point of view.

i guess, in short, i have become a lover of turf racing and am losing interest every weekend in dirt. it seems turf racing is just a whole lot more exciting, especially as they make the turn for home.

I thought the race that Borel won on Seek Gold was pretty exciting because he was such a bomb. . . can't remember what race it was though. . . it was much more exciting because I didn't bet on it. . .
