Default Those wild and wacky rabbits

I hate those threads, comparing different horses from different eras and the what-if-ing that goes on if they'd run against each other.

Being a hypocrite, I'd like to know who you all think would win in a race of rabbits...

Shake the Bank
Blatant
Belenus
Cherry Mix
Crafty Player

Was Siphon once a rabbit? Spanish Chestnut and Crafty Player? Who am I missing (note - don't want to use Sir Barton as he'd probably have a slight advantage).

How far are they going?

I guess at most distances I would take Spanish Rabbit. Hes a hard knocker, game old campaigner.

Hedevar is one I'm not particularly fond of.

I'd take Bugs over Peter, followed by Easter.

Spanish Chestnut has never run better. He looked fantastic opening day dueling I'm The Tiger the whole race while finishing third to an unbelievable closing kick by Awsome Twist.

LOL!

If you have kids and can find an old Warner bros cartoon...(I can't remember the exact title), it had Elmer Fudd hunting for the wasscaly wabbit. Of course, Bugs gives him the slip. Then out come the signs..."It's wabbit season" (Daffy shows up). NO! it's "duck season"!!

Your kids will love it.

And, if you read to them (as you should), give them the story of "Braer Rabbit and da Tar Baby", also released as Disney's "Song of the South".

If they ran on turf I would go with a Cherry Mix/Shank The Bank exacta. On dirt I would go with Crafty Player.
