how do you like that sequence they got carded for tomorrow? 7 of 11 are maidens, starting the day off w/4 maidens right off the bat

I will tread lightly early on in the card. I am gonna play the early DD for sure. There are 2 horses in the 4th that I think can run big tomorrow at juciy odds and I may make a couple small plays around them. #2 My Pill Box will make a much better account of herself tomorrow and I also like the first timer starter #8 Kiwi Warrior, although not a huge fan of Ramgeet.

Other than that, I may just play some small rolling doubles for some action and wait until later in the card to do anything beyond that.

Not that you asked me, but I love it. The more maidens the better. Maiden races produce the most auto-toss horses for me and become easier to handicap. There are just so many horses that have no shot and the public has the lemming mentality of piling on the chalk. "Someone must know something" as they say.

I think maiden races are the last frontier of handicapping. The last of the big scores. There is so much information out there once a horse has a handful of races under his belt that it becomes more difficult to find a price. The fact that so many do not like them, makes me want to beat the maiden races.

this sucks, on one hand i think the 9 is hands down the best in the first leg, but will likely produce nothing on the pk4 if she wins, on the other adding another horse inflates the hell out of my ticket, i like the 7 as well.... here goes nothing

9
16 10 11
8 11 12
389 10 = $48

gl all

Gah. I go six-wide in the second leg, watch the 8-5 horse beat my 17-1 shot, who flattens out for second. I go four-wide in the third leg, watch the odds-on horse hold off my fast-closing 7-1 shot. This thing's gonna pay $20 for $1 with Tape Deck if I'm lucky.

I was a little shocked at the chalkiness yesterday. I went to the track thinking there were going to be some great opportunities to beat the chalk. Disappointing day.
