Default Belmont - Wed 7/9

Scoping out the 4th. The Trombetta firster caught my eye a bit.

Anyone know Medaglia 'd Oro's record with firsters?

Thanks. Good Luck!

He has 5 wins from 21 starters - 24% - with an ROI of $3.78.

Trombetta's obviously great with firsters and this one has one of the best pedigrees in the field. Unfortunately, neither of those things will be a big secret - so don't expect a huge price. (4-1 ML)

Thanks. Was thinking if I get 4-1 might be worth a shot. Wait and see...

Actually I think I gave you his numbers for all starters - for FTS he's 2/12 - 17% - with a $2.21 ROI.

Default Belmont - Race 4

As far as the angle of two-year old sales grads for Race 4 tomorrow at Belmont i found three.

#1 Warm Country sold for $75,000 at the OBS March Hip 434 and worked in the preview in 10.2 seconds.

#8 Hookin The Goods also sold for $75,000 at the OBS Feb sale Hip 71 and worked in 10.2 and 10.1. He was repeatedly whipped in the second work.

#AE Sneakin Up sold for $52,000 in the OBS April sale Hip 1209 and worked in 10.2 seconds.

Unfortunately, not much to go on here with three moderately priced sales and all worked in basically the same time of 10.2. Based on this angle, i will pass the race.

Not that I use them or even know how they're made-

Breeze figs for those three:

Hookin the Goods - 69

Sneakin Up - 65

Warm Country - 67
