Perfect Drift has been a good warrior for many years now, he certainly isn't as accompished on turf as he was on dirt, so today's performance is perhaps a precursor that the old guy still has some lick in him down the line.

considering the competition, the layoff, and that turf isn't his best surface--i thought he looked very good.

What is it with O'neill horses of late? Overextended certainly was not extended today as I think he's still running out there...
