Default Betonsports

Just went there and they have suspended activity. Those with balances are screwed for now. No way to do anything but read the comapany statement. Hope no one has money coming.

the smart ones sure are but warning was given yesterday.
I predicted then the company will go bankrupt and customers will be the ones screwed. Vendors will get paid 1rst followed by emloyees and of course the US if fines are ultimately awarded. This guy had to be retarded to come into the country,

I think this may be a unique situation as collecting a judgment from a Costa Rican company may be impossible. I'm sure a class action suit on behalf of bettors will be filed but US courts may not have juristiction. The CF deal was different as it was a US corp. but my company was in the 3rd tier and of the 180K owed to us we will probably get 75K back. This is the decision of a trustee appointed by the bankruptcy court. 1rst tier was the IRS who already got 100% of what they were owed.
The people who got screwed the worse were the customers who had their inventory in CF's warehouses and in some cases loaded in the back of their trucks.
This company shut down on Labor Day as well with no notification to their employees other than locked gates and doors. No one saw it coming so it was a real slap in the face.
The real bookies must be elated as business for them should sky rocket!!!
and the loan sharks should also have a banner year. How ironic is that?
