![]() Race 7
5 Two Spot Club – Won handily at the condition in Dec, slight cut back in distance can help 3rd 6 Remember Shirley – Centeno opts off the Ness horse??!! Probably a good reason 4th 7 Native Dress – 3 of 3 in the money at the distance – figures with these SCR 4 Photo Image – Ness; 32% on the cutback, 30% turf to dirt – can never leave him off a ticket WON 2 Another Month - Draws Rosemary on the late jock switch; should take to the cutback in distance; Nice bullet last week should have her tight and ready to pounce 2nd Race 8 4 Tight Precision – Velez aboard again after the heatbreaker last time WON 8 Dixiana Darling – Joan Scott’s Meadowlake firster shows a ton in the morning 2nd 6 Omniti – Zayat/Mott/Centeno; no match for Moonshine Alice last time, better placed here 3rd 1 Lethal Quality – KOC first start from the McGauhey barn; certainly enjoys Tampa in the morning, watch out if the pace falls apart Race 9 “The Hanging Rat” Stakes OFF the TURF - edit for off turf.... 2 Beaufort 3rd 1 Jim’s Smokin Pinot - tough stretch run last, gutsy closer figures 4 Bachicho 7 Greycliff Exchange 2nd Race 10 11 Go’ Xango – Craig Phillip can not screw this up – break out the champagne for his first victory of the meet (and I get to change my sig ![]() 6 Sweet Notes – Lrl invader seems to have all the form, and the drop to 12.5 may be just the ticket SCR 12 Cruise to the Moon – Tough post, but not much here – 3rd off the layoff for Monte Thomas tried to menace in the slop last time, should be close the front by the stretch to watch CPF coming back to him 5 Fresh Call - pretty bad when a 22 time maiden is the best of the rest...goes to show how poor this field is BIG - 2,4,5,6//1,4,6,8//1,2,4,7//5,11,12 = 192.00 Small - 4,5,6//1,4,6,8//1,2//5,11,12 = 72.00 Last edited by Rudeboyelvis : 03-04-2008 at 03:38 PM. |

![]() On or off the turf for tomorrow guys?.....I guess the forcast has rain as a likely possibility.
The sequence doesn't look too bad until the "SPLAT" 10th race could have anyone winning!! Race 7 6.5F Ladies All the usual suspects have an entry but I am looking for the upset late with #7 Native Dress though #3 Remember Shirley and Centeno will also be coming late. Likely bronze to early speed #1 Itchy Toes and possibly #4 Photo Image for Mr Ness Race 8 7F's MSW for fillies I am going to favor the closers here after the ES in the form of #1 Lethal Quality and Mott's high priced Zayat entry #6 Omynti lead from the gate but look for Lynne Scarce to get her #3 Eventful Halo home with Rosie or #4 Tight Precision of Proctor's though deeper tickets would be wise in the P4 to use #8 Dixiana Darling as 18% first Sire Meadowlake is worth widening on multi's for a price Race 9 THE AE Sweepstakes.....opinions are fragile til entries are known But for now....#1 Jims Smokin #2 Beaufort and #9 Royal Wall Academy have my attention #10 Mr Seabra is my fourth unless 11,12 or 13 draw in......a tough bunch of coconuts!! Race 10 6.5 F's 12.5 MCL or the" who am I going home with" sweepstakes?? In know particular order 4,6,10,11 and maybe 12 will be on my ticket. This race could be won by anyone.... Big Ticky.....1,3,4,6,7/1,3,4,6,8/1,2,7,9,10/4,6,10,11 Ittle bitty ticky....5,6,7/3,4,8,11/1,2,9/6,11/4,6,11 We will be reasonable about trimming these in the morning based on surface and AE's with goals for Big $200 and Little $100 Good Luck DT'ers Last edited by docicu3 : 03-04-2008 at 01:26 AM. |

![]() So far, they are saying the rain may hold off until 5pm or so. The last turf race may be in trouble but the early ones should be fine.

![]() Time for a GPK intervention ![]() EDIT: Fresh Call ran a career best 50 bsf over the off going @ Calder back in Oct...and the 12 showed up a bit in the slop last out... Wouldn't single CPF as the other 2 logical horses appear to be a bit more live if the track goes away... |
