Default Pick 6 Structuring Excel Sheet

So I was bored all day today and I got to thinking about something I read where people are writing down all these P6 tickets and how hilarious it looks and disorganized. I created an Microsoft Excel spreadsheet today that eliminates all that and is fairly easy to use. All you have to do is put your A's, B's and C's into the proper area (See Below) and it will separate your A's, B's and C's for you, and it will keep track of your cost and everything. The only 'cells' that you can add stuff to is in the 'grey' shaded boxes, everything else is locked so someone with less Excel experience doesn't go and delete some of the formulas.

When adding the numbers, add them using a space between and not a comma, so within the 'cell' it should look like this

1 2 7 8

It should not look like

1,2,7,8

Attachment 633

It uses the below structure.

A,B / A,B / A,B / A,B / A,B / A,B
C / A / A / A / A / A
A / C / A / A / A / A
A / A / C / A / A / A
A / A / A / C / A / A
A / A / A / A / C / A
A / A / A / A / A / C

Play around with it and if you have any questions let me know, I think some people will find it useful.

Note: I just tried to upload an Excel file and it wouldn't allow me to upload it, so I might have to give it to Steve and let him upload it. I'll let him look at it before he posts it for the masses.

If anyone wants it ahead of time, PM me an email address and I'll get it out....

Now that is making something constructive with your free time. Nice.

If there are suddenly no pick 6 carryovers, anywhere, we'll know why. And it will be all your fault!

Nice work!

I think modeling a Crist style pk4 play would be an interesting variation. Think it would actully be quite a bit more complicated.

Have to assign $ amount to AA series based on confidence level (probably ($1-$5). . Same $1 AC tickets as 6.

I think best part would be ease of structuring the any 2A's and any 2B's tickets. Instead of throwing a single $1 or $2 AB ticket. Thought being if you don't get home 2A's you don't "deserve" to hit. AB players (like myself) are likely wasting $$ on ABBB and BBBB tickets.

I would research, but seems silly to get so refined when I can't string together much of anything lately...could be a good tool for players with real ability.

nice job scavs.

i bought windows xp for dummies, so i felt your pain when you were asking for help with formulas. luckily someone had the answers so i didn't have to go find that thing, but it's helpful!

as for your spreadsheet, definitely useful! especially for a novice pick 6 player such as myself, so that you don't have to try to figure the cost of a ticket.
