Default MIRACLE: Torre, Mattingly to LA

Some very reputable people are confirming(independently) that it's true.Mattingly's son is in the org.Just when I was 50/50 to kill myself (or kill a friend turned punk liar.) We have pitching, and Torre ain't had it for a while. We can't hit good pitching though.I am surprised he doesn't retire. He must want to go out another way.

He did his best managing with the Yankees in the 96 world series by far. He had a good team, but no where close to the teams he had recently. But with that team, he was able to play small ball if he needed to. They hit and ran and did the little things that the 2005,6,7 doesn't and can't do. They didn't send out 9 all stars that lived and died by the homerun. I think he will do just fine in the NL.

I just am thrilled to have this guy managing 2 power pitchers(Billingsley and PENNY)that have been without management the last 2 years.Trust me,fatboy Broxton has a ton of ability, but his mind is ****.He needs a grandpa to tell him everything is gunna be o.k. (if he just throws his best pitch for strikes.)"FATBOY,throw that heater,or join the girlscouts." We have had some quality pitchers the last 2 years. We have had nobody to manage them.Honeycutt was a barely mediocre 80's pitcher. What is that woman doing coaching power pitchers.Give me Guidry,or somebody who knows what it's like to dominate with heat.I'll tell ya what ain't gunna happen.Broxton will not throw 3 straight breaking balls to a slumping .230 hitter (like that smurf 2nd baseman of the Giants.) I mean on 0-2,he throws a hanging piece of crap(down the center and high) that this guy (past prime by 7 years) destroys. They should of fired the whole coaching staff on that day.
