Default New Filly Naming Contest (Entries)

Here is my submission for the Aldebaran/ Donna Gatto filly
I haven't looked to see if it has been taken

Aldedonza

I took Aldebaran and Donna and threw El Gran Senor via Don Quixote's girlfriend Aldonza Lorenza aka Dulcinea del Toboso.

ok?

Why not "Shesattheraces" in honor of Steve?

OK, My #2 pick: "Cannonsattheraces" for Chuck and Steve.

Since John started a thread, we might as well get the ball rolling on a "Name that Filly!~" Contest...

Up to 3 suggestions per person... You do not have to be a Stable partner to enter...

A nice prize pack for the winner including Dee Tee Stables Gear, a Collectible or two, maybe a Sumwonlovesyou horseshoe (trophy-mounted on a wood block from one of her 2 Saratoga runs)... Something for the runner-up too...

OK...Here we go:

#1 - Shake Senora
Comes equiped with Harry Belafonte theme Song. Reflects fun nature of our partnership. Honors El Gran Senor.

#2 - Narabedla
Aldebaran backwards.

#3 - Corona Borealis
Northern Crown constellation. Reflects celestial meaning of Aldebaran. Corona references Mom's side.

All appear available on registry.

Look forward to the entries!!!

I think the naming opportunity should be a reflection of this community. It doesn't need to be overly clever with hidden meaning but should have meaning to the group. Thus, I would propose the following.

1) Derby Trail

2) At the Races

3) Sumwonelsetolove

Okay, but only if I get to see Chuck & Steve doing the macarena in the winners circle

I like Aldedonza and Sumwonelsetolove! Good names elsewhere, too, off to ruminate on this a bit ....
