Default Tonight...

Its a tuna melt with a side of pasta with red sauce, a loaf of fresh garlic bread and a hot fudge sundae while watching the Red Sox Mets game.
Does life get any better?

Scuds, whats wrong with Tuna??

Nothing better than going deep sea fishing, catching some Yellowfin Tuna and then eating some if it raw the next day as you cut it up into some tuna steaks.

Ain't steak(that's what's wrong with it.)It's that nasty f'n fish taste.Anytime ya gotta put a g d cup of mayo on something to get it to come close to tasting good, then it just ain't meant for you to eat. If you can eat it without having to cover up the taste, then good for ya.

slice it very thin...sear it on the edges and leave the middle fairly raw....

delightful...

just my two cents...if it tastes fishy...throw it away!
When it's fresh, it has no smell.
Nothing like it.
I just say, if you catch it, and keep it on ice until you get home, fillet it and serve it up...not much better.

Now, if I could just get the cotton tail that is raiding my garden...22 in the head...
hasenphefer (sp) in red wine. More yum!

btw, that venison was plenty good. Can't understand why so many people just drive by them. If they're already clobbered, giving them to the crows seems like a big waste to me.

I dont like Tuna Fish unless it comes out of can and its solid white meat albacore, in water. I could never eat a tuna steak. Thats gross.

Corn on the Cob is one of my favorite things to eat. Smeared with butter, pale yellow. Yum. I usually eat 3-4 ears.

Road kill venison, fresh fawn (bambi), shallots from the garden, mashed potatoes. new peas.
YUM!
Just be lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time, and have a knife to gut it out.
Walleye fillets tomorrow night, if they're biting.

Tim...you see the classy move by the Sox fans last night...calling Pedro out of the dugout with a standing ovation.

Yes, first class Boston all the way. What else would you expect?

Fresh Center Cut Chops (I drove 45 minutes one way for these and other meats from this place, Weiland's is the name of it, north of OSU Campus), some Ohio Corn on the Cob with butter and Sugar Pea's. All cooked by yours truly in a little bit.

It sure would be better if Pedro had not been spanked in the first inning. I hate the Red Sox AND the Yankees. I am a Tribe fan. I was alive (barely) when the Tribe won their last World Series.
