![]() I apologize if I am repeating a thread, but how is the carryover going to work? Is Magna going to add another $500k to the existing $370+ carryover? or is the carryover merely lessening the amount they have to come out of pocket to guaranty the pool?

![]() Magna is not putting any money into the pool. The pool is already $370k plus and I am sure people are going to bet into that pool to get it over $500k. Magna hasn't added any money at all this year to the Magna Pick 5.

![]() Yes, it's a guaranteed 500K, but the handle is usually close to that.
Last week, they paid around $1800 to anyone with 4 of 5, and carried over the 370K. Although they don't have some of the featured national races like they had last week, I would imagine the pool being around 900K. |

![]() Just checked the Magna 5 website.
The pool has ranged from $502,000 - $645,000 from week to week. Last week's was $645K (I'm sure due to the Santa Anita Handicap and the Fountain of Youth being included). Let's hope the races they choose this week make it playable. |

![]() The pool this week approaches 1 million, I guarantee you. They'll bet at least 550k into it and there's what, 337k in the carryover? Huge Magna 5 pool last week made Santa Anita have to kick in the difference for the Pk 6 guarantee.

![]() I am excited about this wager, alot like the NTRA National Pick 4, just a bit weaker. I am sure that it will be well over $1 million...
