Default 3rd Annual Saratoga Meet Contest Update

Once again you will have a chance to show your handicapping skills in our meet-long contest. Last year we had 80 contestants and if you have not participated in the past, I think you will find it lots of fun and very interesting.

As before, you will be allowed 36 $20 win bets during the meet. You can make these 36 bets anytime over the meet. The person with the best ROI is the winner.

I will be changing the format somewhat in allowing each person to keep up with their own numbers. (I'll explain later).

For now, as we have done before, anyone willing to donate a prize, let me know by sending me a PM. Last year we had horse pictures, books, baseball stuff, and Steve threw in his usual nice DT swag. I will once again supply the trophy to the winner.

Good luck and enjoy your afternoon at the Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Good point. I knew it changed and should have checked. yes, it will be 40 wagers, although I'm not sure that will help me!

This is what happen when the beer companies started making 30 packs... like 24 wasnt enought.... LOL

I think if someone goes 0-40..... a prize should be involved ! After all anyone can pick a winner.....right ?

As a multiple time 0-36 player I'd be an overlay at 7-5....

Spyder, I would highly recommend stipulating in the rules that one has to make all 40 plays, so there is no manipulation in the ending ROI.

Ie. Sitting on leads for instance.
