Yea I just heard that too!! hehe Well people wanted all access. How bout Abrams getting run over by Spenditallbaby before the Fleet Treat. I would love to know what the h*ll possessed him to put that carwash rag over her face. Then to make it worse, no shank on her while he is wearing his boating attire. Then she goes out and wins the race. Guess we know who is the smartest one in that bunch.

You think the blinkers are funny, you should see the thing that Abrams had on her today. They said it was a carewash rag, that had the ends of it shredded and tucked into her bridle. She freaked out almost flipped over, ran him over and still one.hehe

Abrams is more idiot than horse trainer. I have watched him saddle alot of horses and he gets his a s s kick from most of his stable. His horses have no manners at all. Barry needs to take some lessons from Mess Tenny on how horses should act.

I just couldnt believe they didnt have a shank on her!! Then there wasnt a groom in sight. And after the race he tried to brush it off, but he just made an a** of himself on national TV. I also noticed that the outrider decided to stand right in front of the filly while she was frozen in place. Now come on, when a horse does that they are either going over or jump forward.Thank goodness she kinda did both because she just clipped the butt of the pony and that could have been very bad.

I was impressed with how Abrahms and Talamo handled that filly when she got upset. He got ran over and never got upset, Talamo never got nervous when she threw him. Then she went out and ran great.

Barry Abrams is a life-long horseman -- and most people don't know that not only was he a standardbred trainer in NJ in his younger days, but he also trained a World Champion and very famous pacer named Guts.

Eric

I certainly didnt know that, but I was very impressed with the way he handled that filly, infact how Ive see him handle most of his horses in the paddock. He seems to treat them more like dogs than horses

He got ran over because of his own actions! He shouldnt get upset at her, he should be upset with himself for putting that contracption on her. I would hope everyone that has handled a nervous horse in a paddock would have enough sense to have a shank on them in case something happens. He wouldn have had alot more control over her and wouldnt have gotten run over....oh that and not having on boat shoes.hehe

Yea and that is prob. what is wrong with her. Dogs that are misbehaving just jump up on you, horses run your butt over!!

I wouldnt have expected him to treat her any different than he did actually. I think from they way he was acting kind of sheepish after the race during the interview he kinda knew it wasnt a very good move with the carwash rag. Just my opinion. And she is a very nice filly and have her on my stable alert and have won money on her alot, including today.

Though I was calling BS from the get go on the bettor's details, I still found the presentation mildly entertaining.

I come down to the fact that it takes balls and talent to fill live air time with spontaneous, improvised conversation. For those rare productions that lay 'em out there in a live improvised situation these days, I give a wide berth on my judgment.

Those blinkers today were also ear muffs.

She looked like a devil today as she took the lead....or a pinata, take your choice!

For all her antics in the paddock today, it was obvious her mind was on the game once she was on the track pre-race.

A great race to re-affirm the value in actually seeing the horses just before they run.

If you were in the paddock and saw what went on, would you have bet her?
I thought Joe Talamo also gave her a great ride splitting horses to the inside late.

As far as Schrupp and Bray goes, it was pretty entertaining stuff. The line about the car being worth $500 dollars, and that is with a $100 bill in the glove compartment was hillarious. I had nothing on the race and I was rooting for the guy, and was it Michael Baze who dropped the F-Bomb?

I couldn't agree more. They had no business talking about what he makes on national TV.
