Steve,

I'm a part-time Racing Dispatcher, so here's the link with Travis' comments. Nobiz Like Shobiz retained the top spot with some obvious changes behind him.

Read all about it at: http://www.racingdispatch.com/poll.php?year=2007&week=4

People haven't lost the faith in CQ i see.

And someone was so moved with Notional's win that he picked up a first place vote?

Going into last week---I felt as though there were only 8 possible horses who could win the Derby---with Notional being the only one running. He may have won, but his performance didn't impress me nearly enough. I'm down to 7.

At least you have a real sneaky Derby horse this year though---I certainly can't find one.

I think Great Hunter is a mortal lock for place money. Especially if his final prep is in the Bluegrass and he stinks up the place. If he wins the Bluegrass mortal lock for 4th.

doubt Street Sense continues to move forward.

Don't see anyone prepping at Fairground having any impact on the derby superfecta.

anyone of note at Oaklawn?

Steve,

Thanks for posting your list. One question. Why did you move CQ up from 15 to 8 this week on list? He remains up there for me(despite me not having an actual list!), but based on his results last weekend, i'm surprised you would move him up that far, unless it was a matter of many others 'falling off' your list. Just wondering.

He'd be a big factor if they move the race to Louisiana.

Some weeks in this, horses move up just because they ran, but I was impressed with his effort Saturday.. I'm not crazy about this colt, but you had to be taken with his agility and determination.

If they moved the race to the moon, or any location on planet Earth for that matter, I don't think he'd be that much of a factor.

Default Ravel Moves to Second; Nobiz holds first

Week four of the Dispatch Derby Poll saw a significant amount of change, with the exception of Nobiz Like Shobiz holding his lead over the 3-year-old crop. Ravel, winner of the Sham Stakes, took over second while Street Sense and Hard Spun are now tied in third. Numerous new faces joined the list while a few dropped off completely. This weeks Derby Poll features updated odds from the Kentucky Derby Future Wager.
