Default The Horse Genome is complete!

Or nearly complete...info has been made available to researchers...ten years in the making, this is very cool!

This actually is very cool.

I remember seeing some books published about genetic links between certain traits that could indicate a higher chance of success for a racehorse. For example, if a horse had a certain shape of his ear, it was more likely that he also had an unusually large heart which could supply more oxygen and therefor indicate superior running ability. I wonder if any of the researchers doing the genome work like to gamble?
