Congrats, Scav, but you've got to be joking? Grossman could have scored you guys at least 2 more touchdowns in the first half.

I'll be pulling for Chicago in the Super Bowl.

So you think the Bears defense was just as good? No way. Congrats to the Bears O-line and Grossman for hanging tough. But no way can you compare this Bears D to the first half of the year. Just because the Bears win this game, does not justify that their D is the same, its not.

Its akin to saying Cedric Benson was an excellent 4th choice in the draft because he scores today. And I am not one of the guys picking the Saints to run over da Barz. When Tommy Harris returns to full strength, the Bears can stay with any team on any field and weather. And Grossman is not leading this team to dominance for years to come, sorry to dissappoint, but he is just not that good. If this team is to stay good year after year (because the NFC will not stay this bad) another QB will have to be found.

I am very happy for the man of Love Smith though and a city that is probably the greatest sports town in the United States. I thought Smith got a raw deal in St. Louis when their D was maligned after he was supposed to save them.

well obviously if you lose a guy the calibur of harris youre not gonna be the same, nobody will dispute that. also mike brown is a huge loss as well, put them two back in the lineup and lookout! also does anybody have a better nose for the ball than brown in all of football? rex is very shaky at times yes but keep in mind this is his first full year playing and for basically a first year guy has he not shown alotta potential and flashes of brilliance? that was a helluva drive he led yesterday! i see alotta upside with rex and think hes only gonna improve with experience!
