After Saratoga, Belmont & non-Derby Churchill, Oaklawn is my 4th favorite track I've been to. (way over Keeneland )

I've never been to Oaklawn, but I LOVE wagering on its racing. However, is it as nice as Keeneland? It does lack a turf course, too.
Keeneland on non-racing days & during the sales is gorgeous, but it gets too crowded on race days and being there seems more of a social event whereas being at Oaklawn it's more about the racing. Oaklawn isn't nearly as 'pretty' as Keeneland although you don't have to deal with the sun in your eyes so much. I would certainly recommend going to Oaklawn Park for the AR Derby. I found the people to be extremely friendly as well.

Nothing wrong with getting a little buzz going. Im sure youll hear Derby mentioned in the same breath as Westwon shortly.

Magtown Missle in the last race Friday is a good bet. Tuff Man Dan on top also in the last race Super. I'll break down Sundays card top to bottom so hang on for Packerbacker's Best Line Bets in the Selections section.

Back in the day I sat in the x,y,z section on the upper 2nd floor. College honeys are everywhere and the Arkansas Sports Bar is just around the corner. Now that I'm older I hang out at the Oyster Bar on the 1st floor. Shrimps as big as you thumbs and plenty of live tellers to take your bets. I love Oaklawn and miss it more than my family since we've moved to Michigan in 1999.
