Default ROI Results 9/3 @ Saratoga/Del Mar

Another Saratoga meet is over and it was sucessful from a wagering standpoint. The racing
was good, unpredictible at times and very competitive. Cruzan, Ruffian and Don all had pretty
strong wins. Oh well, time to get our Breeders Cup mojo on. This week, at two tracks, we had
a winner and two placers for points. Zippy chipped in a winner but fell way short of profitability.
Cal finished third by hitting a superfecta at Del Mar worth $139.76. Real Quiet gets second
place with an exacta at Saratoga in race 9 as Virginia Joy held off War Like Goddess. Don
gets the win on our Saratoga farewell card. He "Bossed" our field by hitting an exacta in race
7 at Del Mar and holds off the late charge by Cal. The exacta paid a nice $29.60 for each $2.00
bet. Nicely played Boss (it's an inside joke). Congrats on your sweep. The Saratoga meet
belonged to you. Following are the unofficial results until it's official. Two tracks is two times
as hard to score especially for our points scorer Plenilune. Well done Jane. See you next
at the track of Don's choosing.

It was a skimpy win but I'll take it. Certainly been the best ROI wager year I've had in my memory. I'm keeping it simple, for a simple handicapping mind, and it seems to be paying off. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". I'm waiting for Rufian and Roamin to throw in a humdinger wager, been awhile for them to show their stuff.

Lastly the "boss' reference threw me at first but I quickly caught on (nothing to do with this forum) and ya made me smile and I'm glad you're keeping up with me otherwise.

Haven't thanked you enough this year for all you do, along with Pleilune and ExOfficio JB, . . . the grease and the oil that keeps this place running smoothly!!!
