Default Did NYRA file?

Did NYRA file bankruptcy on wednesday?I saw something somewhere that said they were.Didn't hear anything more yet.

Now they can't afford to fix there track at the Big A, which is the most important thing they need to be right to conduct a meeting - especially headed into winter....

I wish somebody would hurry up and buy that poor franchise....

Actually it's the main track where they are having the problem and they move to the "inner" track on 11/29.

I am not a materials expert, but I've been told it's a clay based track and major rain causes a problem. I would think that over time the track and it's composition becomes harder and harder to maintain.

And to answer the question, yes, NYRA filed. Check out all the trade journals.

The inner track is far worse than the outter....Don't they put an anti-freeze agent in the dirt on the inner over the winter? It is painful to look over and watch their signal over the winter months on the inner and seeing those poor horses and jockeys splashing through the AQU-sludge on a cold and wet day at the Big A......that is not horse racing
