An abundance of great names on today's card that could tell a tale. By the time we have a shot of Bourbon Wisdom [R3] or lift a glass on Bourbon Street [R1], then share a wee dram with the illustrious Don Bourbon [R6] and follow the call when someone announces "Tiz Rye Time" [R7], we could all be Beyond Gone [R2]. If anyone ends up in that state, please don't wager impulsively with your Munchkin Money [R8] to win Tons of Gold [R3] just because you found a hot tip in your Fortune Cookie [R9], or you might have to seek funds from a local Pawnbroker [R11]. Most of all, if you do attend that Awesome Party [R3], don't go out and drive in NY Traffic [R7] or you just might have need of a Krachenwagen [R11].

With apologies - JB

My obsessive compulsive disorder required that I look up krachenwagen which looks like something german and which I expected to be something to haul beer on with Clydesdales, but I was totally wrong. It's a bumper car ride in Canada. I have driven in lots of places including Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas and Houston, but the scariest of all to me was New York. It definitely looked like it could potentially be a whole lot of krachenwagens. I took a taxi everywhere I wanted to go.

For me it's Boston, hands down. While New York City traffic is fierce and high stress, the taxi drivers know exactly where they are going and know by how much they can cut you off without causing an accident. The grid layout makes it fairly easy to navigate. Boston drivers, on the other hand, often act as if they are confused about where they are going and tend to treat red lights as advisory. The streets are often one way and run at strange angles to one another, so even a simple "go around the block" can become a genuine adventure.

And when get on the woodsy suburb country roads that where drawn up by horse and rider and minute men your likely to think your going nowhere but where you started from. Even the reliable compass spins around out there. I know, I've been there.
