Trainer William Perry RIP
Sad news tha Billy Perry passed away. He was a top trainer in New England in the 70’s and 80’s. Won the Masscap with Let Burn in 83 and was the trainer of Big hoss Formal Gold. Billy Perry was a classy guy and terrific horseman. He will be missed .

A tremendous horseman and sweet man. I got to know him via $1.3MM earning North East Bound, with whom he worked brilliantly. Beset by Parkinson's at a young age, his courage cannot be measured and he donated his body to science for research of the devastating disease. Sympathies to Rose, his wife of 47 years.
